About
Project Hope is a South African non-profit dedicated to breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty by supporting children aged 0–5 and their families. Since 2020, we have strengthened early childhood development (ECD) centres, combining high-quality education with integrated health, psychosocial, and family-support services.
Through our Child Sponsorship and Caregiver Support Programmes, we ensure children access preschool, nutritious meals, health services, and emotional support, while empowering caregivers with skills, peer networks, and income-generation opportunities. Our Volunteer Abroad Programme further enhances centre activities and allows global participants to engage with our holistic model.
By fostering school readiness, well-being, and resilient families, Project Hope creates sustainable pathways out of poverty, transforming communities in the Valley of 1000 Hills and contributing to South Africa’s long-term social development goals.
