UWC Fairy Godmother is a Facebook page designed to assist under-resourced students at the University of the Western Cape. Requests from students for textbooks, new shoes, or even groceries are published anonymously, and are then funded by whomever responds to the post, also anonymously. There is no "middle man" - funders are given the particular student's own, personal banking details for a direct deposit. We always, always need funding to support our students. Grocery and toiletry hampers are also welcome please, but only during the term time, when students are on campus.
