MISSION

Sparrow Schools Educational Trust prepares children and youth who live with neurodiversity to become income generators through comprehensive education, vocational skills training, and intensive learner support. The Foundation School empowers neurodiverse learners through the adapted CAPS curriculum, small classes, and enriching cultural and sporting programmes from Grade 1 to 7. We offer a nurturing environment where each child is supported to grow in confidence, develop their strengths, and reach their full potential Sparrow Combined Technical Skills School offers a learner-centered approach focused on practical engagement for real-world applications. We provide comprehensive education in key subjects and intensive skills training in Hospitality and Wholesale & Retail. Our innovative lessons and supportive curriculum empower students with practical skills and a deep understanding of their chosen field. Corporate Social Investment is a broad concept that can take many forms depending on the company and industry. Through CSR programs, philanthropy, and volunteer efforts, businesses can benefit society while boosting their brands. Philanthropy: Businesses can practice social investment by donating money, products or services to social causes and non-profits, including Sparrow Schools. Please feel free to reach out to us and ask about our specific needs and whether a donation of money, time, or perhaps your company’s products would best help us. By doing good deeds without expecting anything in return, your company can express its support for Sparrow Schools and the education and well-being of our children and youth.

💻 Tech Time-Travelers: We are looking for pre-loved Laptops & Desktops! If it can handle Office software and a bit of design magic, it’s got a home at our Technical Skills School and FET College. 🍎 Brain Fuel: Our learners cannot learn on an empty stomach. We are hunting for non-perishable food or grocery vouchers to keep the Feeding Scheme cooking! 📄 The Secret-Keeper: We need an Office Shredder to turn old paper into confetti (and keep our data safe). 🔒 The Treasure Chest: A medium-sized Office Safe to keep our "important stuff" tucked away. 🎨 A Splash of Joy: Got leftover Paint? We will take it! Help us turn "drab" into "fab" across our campuses. ✨ The "Glow Up" Crew: We are looking for two Industrial Floor Polishers. Our hallways want to shine as bright as our learners 🌬️ The Big Chill: It gets breezy in the hall... or at least we want it to! We need Industrial Fans to keep the School Hall cool during assemblies in the hot SA months
