Kin Culture, is a sustainable solution for vulnerable children, providing family based care, focusing on long-term foster care, which is where the greatest need is in SA for the almost 5 million vulnerable children. Our model is ideally one child placed per family(although we have some families with more children, it is not always advisable) and then we circle around these families to ensure the stability of the placement and provide all professional services for the holistic healing of the child in care. Our long term vision is to enable children to be raised as responsible self-sustainable adults, contributing to our economy and society as a whole, we also have faith that potentially they will pay it forward to take one child in care in their lifetime. We operate in the Western Cape, with an offices in Stellenbosch & George. Registered with Department of Social Development as a Child Protection Organisation, mainly doing screening & training for prospective parents. Also registered with SARS as a PBO to issue 18A's for tax deduction purposes. We have been operational for the past 12 years building a network of 105 families caring for 165 children as at the start of 2026, and growing year on year. We further have an audit track record for the past 10 years.
