About
We are a community-based organisation and want to educate the community that there are different ways to educate young people. GO-Spectrum Foundation strive to help learners with neurodiverse barriers, find ways to thrive academically and socially in order to reach their full potential.
We want to provide ongoing support and education to the parents as well as the community of these learners to help them understand and cope with the challenges they may have. We find innovative solutions to everyday difficulties and teach learners how to use tools and resources to their advantage as well as being able to apply these skills to the outside world and community and ultimately become fully functional members of society.
GO-Spectrum Foundation promotes lifelong learning by supporting neurodiverse students in gaining an education, which not only benefits their own continuous development but also fosters a culture of learning for future generations. Obtaining a matric qualification opens doors to further study and equips students with skills essential for continued learning in the workplace.
The foundation recognizes that the current education system is not equipped to accommodate neurodiverse students in mainstream or inclusive educational settings. By providing specialized education tailored to their needs, the foundation ensures that these students receive an education where they can thrive, rather than just access to education
