About
Our work focuses on early intervention. We counsel, listen, and walk alongside mothers who feel trapped, afraid, unsupported, or who believe that abandonment is their only option. Baby Line steps in before a mother reaches that breaking point, offering reassurance, guidance, and tangible help to remind her that she is not alone and that there are other options available to her. We believe that with the right support at the right time, lives can be changed.
In addition to counselling and emotional support, Baby Line provides practical assistance to help mothers navigate the first days and weeks of motherhood. Every month, we visit a government hospital to their maternity and labour wards, to distribute care packs to new mothers. These packs include essential items for both mom and baby, such as nappies, wet wipes, maternity pads, baby clothing, and basic toiletries. While these items may seem small, they can make an enormous difference for a mother who has nothing.
We have seen firsthand how something as simple as a pack of nappies can be the deciding factor in whether a mother feels able to keep her baby or believes adoption or abandonment is her only option. Baby Line exists to bridge that gap—to offer dignity, hope, and practical support when it is needed most.
At its heart, Baby Line is about compassion, prevention, and presence. We are here to listen, to support, and to stand with mothers in crisis, reminding them that they matter, their babies matter, and help is available.
