About
The Chaeli Campaign is a South African nonprofit organisation dedicated to building inclusive communities where disabled people can access education, opportunity and a meaningful sense of belonging.
Founded in 2004, The Chaeli Campaign grew from a simple but powerful belief that disabled people thrive when systems, environments and attitudes are designed with inclusion at their core. What began as a small, community driven initiative has developed into a multi programme organisation supporting disabled children, youth and families across South Africa.
Our work includes inclusive early childhood development, education support, youth leadership programmes, therapies and outreach, and community advocacy. We focus on practical, lived inclusion that goes beyond awareness to create real access to learning, leadership and participation. Collaboration sits at the heart of our approach as we work alongside families, schools, partners and funders to build sustainable, dignified solutions.
Our mission is to empower disabled people to live full, connected lives within their communities. We believe inclusion is a shared responsibility and that when it is done well, everyone benefits.
