South African Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre

When government support doesn’t exist, leadership matters. Your contribution enables lifesaving veterinary care and rehabilitation for over 6,000 wild animals yearly! You are the reason they survive!

When wildlife is injured, displaced, or fighting for survival, the response must be fast, expert, and lawful. At the intersection of urgency, expertise and conservation, our work begins! Based in Gauteng, we have branches in Pretoria, Springs, Northcliff and Sasolburg. We network across South Africa to assist compromised indigenous wildlife, collaborating closely with species-specific veterinarians to ensure the highest standard of care. Our Rehabilitation Centre is fully permitted by the Gauteng Department of Rural Development (GDARD), including authorisation to manage Threatened and Protected Species, for small to medium-sized wildlife cases, with open permits that allow us to assist across provincial borders.   We are members of the Coalition of Rehabilitation Expertise (CORE), who all work together toward the goals of rescue, rehabilitation and successful release!
