Our Mission
To enhance the lives of visually and physically impaired individuals, and children with autism.
Our Vision
A country where every person with visual and physical disabilities can experience freedom and independence.
Annually, we transform the lives of around 800 disabled individuals through our various programmes. These programmes include breeding, raising, and training Assistance Dogs such as Guide Dogs for the visually impaired, Service Dogs for the physically disabled, and Autism Support Dogs for children on the Autism spectrum. We also provide long cane training as well as daily living skills through our Orientation and Mobility services to people of all ages who are visually impaired.
We offer all these services at very little cost to our clients.
We rely on the generosity of our donors to continue the life-changing work we do.
Your support directly empowers us to:
- Train Guide, Service, and Autism Support Dogs — preparing these remarkable animals to make life-changing differences for individuals and children in need.
- Provide mobility tools and training to visually impaired people, including training sessions with our O&M Practitioners on how to use the white cane, liquid level
indicator, and money identifier, as well as daily living skills like cooking, cleaning and navigating one’s surroundings confidently and safely.
- Cover veterinary care and essential supplies to maintain the health and wellbeing of our Puppy Block. (Specific food for our puppies, supplements for the broods, cleaning products to keep hygiene standards, blankets and specific enrichment toys)
