Our Mission
Founded in 1987/88 by quadriplegics, Remme-Los is more than just a Centre—it's a beacon of hope and empowerment for individuals with spinal injuries. Our mission is to transform lives by providing comprehensive support, enabling residents to live with dignity, independence, and purpose.
Comprehensive Support Services
Accommodation and Care
- Permanent, home-like environment designed specifically for quadriplegics and paraplegics
- 24/7 professional caregiver support for personal care needs
- Assistance with essential daily activities like bathing, dressing, and personal maintenance
Transportation and Accessibility
- Two specially adapted wheelchair-accessible vehicles
- Enabling residents to:
- Attend work
- Participate in community outreach
- Engage in advocacy for disability rights
- Conduct educational programs about personal safety
Daily Living Support
- Nutritious dinner preparation
- Laundry and clothing care
- Room and garden maintenance
