Every December, we celebrate one of our most beloved traditions: The 12 Days of Christmas - Wheelchair Edition. During this magical season, we shine a light on the 12 beneficiaries at the very top of our waiting list - children, adults, and families whose lives will be transformed the moment they receive their custom-fitted wheelchairs. Our goal each festive season is ambitious, hopeful, and deeply meaningful: Fully fund 12 custom wheelchairs for 12 deserving beneficiaries. It doesn’t always happen in time for a perfect Christmas miracle - but we never stop. Collections continue into the new year, and every bottle top, bread tag, takeaway coffee-cup lid, and aluminium tab brings us closer to changing another life. Our Christmas Progress So Far What we need to raise: R224,558.57 What we’ve raised so far: R10,467.05 Recycling collected toward these beneficiaries: ♻️ 74,852.85 kg of bottle tops ♻️ 22,482.84 kg of bread tags ♻️ 16,039.90 kg of aluminium can tabs These numbers represent thousands of tiny acts of love - schools collecting in jars, families dropping off buckets, volunteers driving across towns, businesses placing tubs in their lobbies, and communities spreading the word.
