Our Mission

Our mission is to assist people with disabilities throughout the world, regardless of their colour, race or creed, by providing the conditions necessary for their physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

Our Vision

We believe that each person, whatever his or her disability, is a uniquely valuable individual and that people with disabilities should have the personal freedom to pursue their aspirations and take their own place in the world.

Our Aim

• Unquestioning recognition of their full human rights. • Standards of excellence in all aspects of care from both staff and volunteers. • The support of a forward looking and responsive organisation, aware of their needs and of those and their Carers. • The opportunity to take an effective part at every level in running our services. • Partnership in a continuing endeavour to help others, whatever the need may be, in the field of disability. We currently have 21 females and 39 males in our care. Our residents are dependent on our Home and their Carers to provide the care they deserve. It is through the collective efforts of our generous donors that we have been able to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for our residents, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives despite their physical challenges. Our urgent priority is to sustain the 24 hour specialised care our residents deserve. We receive a quarterly grant from the Department of Social Development and each resident contributes 75% of their monthly disability grant towards their accommodation & care.  Despite this, we must continue our fundraising endeavours to cover the shortfall of R4500 per resident, per month. To bridge this gap, we are calling on companies and individuals to support our mission by contributing a once off or monthly contribution  towards our 24 Hour Specialised Care Program, making a positive impact on the lives of the most vulnerable in society. Your action can change their lives. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to ensuring our residents continue to receive the care they urgently need.
